As QHSE Manager you will:
- Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and drive initiatives to support continuous improvement across the company
- Aligned with strategy: plan, monitor, and support QHSE and Sustainability activities
- Provide and uphold professional risk management practices across the company
- Collaborate with line managers and management and maintain QHSE policies, processes and systems in line with industry regulations and standards
- Support line managers in handling product non-conformities and conduct root cause analysis
- Drive QHSE awareness and training, lead risk management initiatives, plan and conduct audits to foster a strong safety culture
- Conduct safety inspections on site and support line management in following up findings
We're seeking a proactive individual who possesses a strong background in QHSE, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and proficiency in project work and root cause analysis preferably from the maritime industry. We have confidence in your potential to make valuable contributions to our team, where you'll play a pivotal role in embedding QHSE and risk management into every facet of our operations.
Qualifications and experience:
- Good knowledge of best practice within QHSE and project work including methods and tools
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Good understanding and experience from investigations and/or root cause analysis
- Auditor credentials and experience as Lead Auditor
- Experience from similar positions in companies that are subjected to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- You can act on your own initiative, make things happen and accept responsibility for the results
